Looks like George's original 1963 Ric 360/12.

It IS George's original 360/12 (no V64 headstock ever looked like that). I saw it on a site somewhere, along with a photo of George playing a 370/12RM JG with McGuinn.

Cool pic.....way cool pic. Believe I first came across it a while ago at "The Folk Den," an online resource center that strives to maintain and preserve folk music as an indigenous art form for storytelling. Webmaster is none other than Roger McGuinn. Best regards.....Da Goofmeister.

That was the style of playing Rickenbacker guitars back then: one person strummed the strings and the other person used his hand to form chords. It never caught on...
