Fingerboard radius on vintage reissues

Post by vintagemusicgear »

I've heard that the fingerboard radius on the vintage reissues changed from 12" to 10" around 2000. Does anyone know for sure?

Yes, that's correct.

Do a google search on "internet wayback machine" and go there... then look up www.rickenbacker.com (or any other website you want) and check out the history. Asterisks denote site updates. FYI, I only checked the 360/12v64 model to verify this answer.

Just checked the wayback machine, myself. Looks like the radius was changed on all Rick models.
